Manchester Airport launches new airport awareness video
Manchester Airport has launched a new video to accompany refreshed ‘Airport Awareness’ literature, aimed at helping families with autistic children when travelling through the airport. The Airport Awareness initiative was originally launched in 2009 and has now been refreshed to include a booklet and video for each of the three terminals. Singer and actor Keith Duffy is backing Manchester Airport’s Awareness initiative and appears in the videos. Find out more

Keith Duffy to compete in IRONMAN 70.3 Ireland
Keith Duffy has announced that he plans to take part in IRONMAN 70.3 Ireland for a second year, having taken part in the inaugural event last September. This year’s event takes place in Galway on Sunday 2nd September 2012, and Keith will be racing as part of ‘TEAM DUFFY’ to raise funds for Irish Autism Action, of which he is patron. Keith began his efforts to raise awareness after his own daughter Mia was diagnosed with autism. Find out more
The Big Red Bike Ride – Charity Cycle
Keith Duffy accompanied by Ireland football legend Paul McGrath announced details of ‘The Big Red Bike Ride’ which will commence at Mizen Head on 9th of June 2012. The cycle will cover 400 miles reaching Malin head on 14th June and finishing up in Derry later that day. All funds raised from the challenge will go to Irish Autism Action, Manchester United Foundation and Hearts & Minds. This is a unique opportunity to cycle along with Manchester United Legends including Denis Irwin and Clayton Blackmore and other celebrity guests including Keith Duffy.
